Martin Prosperity Institute

Offices designed for the Martin Prosperity Institute think-tank, headed by Richard Florida, in downtown Toronto’s MaRS Centre. Operating at multiple scales and joined by a broad hallway which itself houses multiple activities, the facility easily meets the dynamic needs of this vibrant economic research group. Material choices encourage efficient and versatile collaboration: painted-glass whiteboards and chalk surfaces are interspersed among the original brick walls.

Designed as a member of a team directed by Christian Unverzagt at M1/dtw.

Office: M1/dtw; Type: Commercial Offices; Size: 4500 sf; Status: Built; Date: 2007-2009; Location: Toronto, Canada; Client: The Martin Prosperity Institute; Richard Florida.
