Fort Malden National Historic Site

Gatekeeper for a waterfront park, this bi-lingual Canadian museum tells the story of Fort Malden, its important role in the War of 1812, and the supportive part it played in the growth of Amherstburg. Significant eras in the Fort’s history are boldly described with bright color schemes. A children’s area features lively, contemporary photographs of docents on site.
